Research--Gene regulation and characteristic analysis of β2-glycoprotein I, anti-atherogenic mechanisms of active components in herbal medicine and health foods

  • Molecular medicine: Our team is interested to explore the molecular mechanisms and signal transduction pathway for intervention of metabolic syndrome, obesity, diabetes, and atherosclerosis
  • Biological functional of β2-glycoprotein I (β2-GPI): β2-GPI is a plasma glycoprotein with a variety of physiological functions. Currently, we are interested in understanding how β2-GPI plays the role in anti-cell migration, anti-cell proliferation, and anti-angiogenesis, which are all essential for the prevention of carcinogenesis.
  • Drug development: We are also developing the potential Chinese herbs and health food in the function of anti-aging and prevention of metabolic syndrome.
